    • Hypothyroidism
    • Hashimoto’s or Graves’ disease
      Extra iodine can worsen these conditions.
    • Iodine sensitivity or allergy
    •  Pregnancy or breastfeeding
    • Iodine levels that are too high can affect fetal or infant thyroid development.
    • Are taking thyroid medications
    • Bladderwrack may interfere with drugs like levothyroxine.
    • Are on blood thinners
    • It may have mild anticoagulant effects.
